Senior Nutrition Meals
Sponsored by Nutrition Services, Inc. Meals in the dining room at the Community Center, are served Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Meals on wheels are available daily. Anyone over 60 qualifies. For reservations call 965-2746 or 965-2440 before 10 a.m. Good food and fellowship.

50 plus club
Meets 2nd Tuesday each month, following the noon meal, at the Community Center Alcoholics Anonymous
Meets Wednesday at 8:15 p.m. at the Kensington Community Center dining room .

American Legion
Meets the 4th Monday of each month at the Kensington Community Center.

American Legion Auxiliary
Meets the 4th Monday of the months March, April, May, September and October at 8 p.m. at the Kensington Community Center.

Tuesday Night Whist
The Kensington Whist Club meets every Tuesday at the Kensington Community Center. Doors open at 7 p.m. and play starts at 7:30. Coffee and snacks served and everyone is welcome.

Community Events

Runestone Days June 13, 14, and 15, 2008

An annual summer event for the whole family.
. The Miss Runestone Pageant is at 7 p.m Friday, followed by a family karoake night on main street.
The evening will end with a fireworks display.
Saturday is a pancake breakfast served by the Lions club, fishing tournament, garage sales, craft sales, childrens art and craft projects, music in the park, golf tournament and a co-ed softball tournament.
Bingo in the Community Center from 1 to 2:30, followed by the talent show at 3.
The American Legion and Auxiliary serve a barbeque supper.
The Big Street Dance is Saturday night.
Sunday is an all faith church service at Runestone Park.
A pork chop feed at noon, followed by the main parade.
A Classic Car Show is on Sunday, the Norsman Baseball Team have a game, and the popular antique tractor pull is held following the parade.
Past graduates are encouraged to have class reunions this weekend.
