City Government

The Kensington City Office is located at 19 Central Avenue North in Kensington. The city office is open from 8am to 12pm, Monday through Friday.

City Council Meetings are held the first Monday of every month at 7 p.m. in the Council Room at the Kensington Community Center.

Election

Information

Voting for the primary, general and special elections is held at the Kensington Community Center. Voting hours are from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Those wishing to run for City Council or Farwell Kensington Sanitary District board member can file at the City Clerk’s office during the designated time period for doing so. Official notices regarding filing periods and elections will be published in the Grant County Herald-Herman Review-Hoffman Tribune and posted at the Kensington Community Center.

To register to vote, please pick up a voter registration card from the Douglas County Auditor’s Office, or register online.
